Please read them carefully before purchasing.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or otherwise affects any mandatory statutory rights you have under Irish or applicable European Union consumer law.

The specific features, price, duration, access period and inclusions of a product or service will be described on the relevant sales page, checkout page, registration page or other information provided before purchase.
Where programme-specific terms are provided before purchase and differ from these general Terms, the programme-specific terms will apply to that particular service to the extent of the difference, subject always to applicable law.
3. ELIGIBILITY AND UNDER-18 PARTICIPANTS
You must be legally capable of entering into the relevant agreement or have the appropriate permission to participate.
No person under the age of 18 may enrol in, purchase or participate in a Lauren Jean Devine programme or service intended for students without the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Where a participant is under 18, we may require their parent or legal guardian to:
Give permission for participation;
Complete or approve registration;
Make or authorise payment;
Provide appropriate contact details;
Accept applicable Terms on behalf of or in connection with the participant; and
Provide any additional permissions reasonably required for the relevant service.
We reserve the right to request reasonable confirmation of parental or legal guardian permission.
Where required permission cannot be established, we may suspend or decline participation as appropriate.
4. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNTS
You agree that information supplied when purchasing, registering or applying for a service will be accurate and current.
Where an account or login is provided, access is personal to the registered participant unless expressly stated otherwise.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and must not knowingly allow another person to use your personal account.
Please notify us if you believe your account or login information has been compromised.
5. PRICES AND PAYMENT
The price of a product or service will be displayed or communicated before you purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, prices are expressed in euro (€).
Payment may be offered:
In full;
Through an instalment/payment plan;
As a recurring membership or subscription; or
Under another arrangement clearly communicated before purchase.
By completing a purchase, you agree to pay the applicable price according to the payment arrangement selected.
6. PAYMENT PLANS
Some fixed-price programmes may allow the total programme price to be paid by instalments.
Where a programme has a fixed total price and an instalment option is selected, the instalments are a method of paying the agreed total programme price and are not a monthly subscription unless expressly described as such before purchase.
Choosing an instalment plan therefore does not, by itself, create a right to cancel remaining payments simply because you:
Stop participating;
Do not attend sessions;
Do not access resources;
Change your mind after applicable cancellation rights have expired; or
Decide you no longer wish to complete the programme.
This is always subject to your statutory consumer rights and any programme-specific cancellation rights expressly provided to you.
Where a scheduled payment fails, we may contact you and make reasonable attempts to resolve the outstanding payment.
Where legally permitted, access to a programme or service may be temporarily suspended while an agreed payment remains overdue.
7. MEMBERSHIPS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
Where a service is sold as a recurring membership or subscription, the applicable:
Price;
Billing frequency;
Contract duration or minimum commitment, if any;
Renewal arrangements; and
Cancellation arrangements
will be communicated before purchase.
Where a membership automatically renews, this will be made clear before the agreement is entered into.
Cancelling a recurring membership ordinarily prevents future renewals in accordance with the applicable membership terms. It does not automatically create an entitlement to a retrospective refund for a period already purchased.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
8. STATUTORY CANCELLATION RIGHTS
We do not provide an additional contractual change-of-mind cancellation period unless one is expressly offered for a particular product, programme or service.
However, consumers are entitled to any cancellation rights that apply under mandatory Irish consumer law.
For certain contracts concluded online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance, Irish law may provide a statutory cancellation period.
Where a statutory right to cancel applies, it will be honoured in accordance with applicable law.
To notify us that you wish to exercise an applicable statutory cancellation right, contact:
Email: [email protected]
Telephone: 083 123 2307
Post: Lauren Jean Devine, Faughalstown, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath, Ireland
Where applicable, you may use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms. You are not required to use the form if you communicate your decision to cancel through another clear and legally valid statement.
9. SERVICES BEGINNING DURING A CANCELLATION PERIOD
Some customers may wish to begin receiving a service immediately rather than waiting until the expiry of an applicable statutory cancellation period.
Where required by law, we will obtain the appropriate request or consent before commencing performance during that period.
If you request that performance begins during an applicable statutory cancellation period and subsequently exercise a valid statutory right to cancel, you may be required, where permitted by law, to pay an amount proportionate to the services already supplied.
Where a service has been fully performed following the requests and acknowledgements required by applicable law, the statutory cancellation right may cease where provided by law.
10. DIGITAL CONTENT AND IMMEDIATE ACCESS
Some products provide immediate or early access to digital materials such as:
Videos
Recorded lessons
Courses
Resource libraries
Workbooks
Templates
Guides
Downloads
Educational materials
Different statutory cancellation rules may apply to digital content supplied without a tangible medium.
Where required by law, before providing immediate access to digital content during an applicable cancellation period, we may ask you to:
Expressly consent to the supply of the digital content beginning before the cancellation period expires; and
Acknowledge that, where applicable, beginning supply may result in the loss of your statutory cancellation right.
Where legally required, this will be obtained separately through the purchase or enrolment process.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory remedies where digital content or a digital service is not supplied, is faulty, does not conform to the contract or otherwise gives rise to a remedy under applicable consumer law.
11. REFUNDS
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this Refund Policy.
Where you have a legal entitlement to a refund, price reduction, cancellation or other remedy under applicable Irish consumer law, that remedy will be provided in accordance with the law.
Outside of statutory entitlements, refund requests are considered individually and on a case-by-case basis.
We understand that circumstances can change. If an exceptional situation arises, please contact:
When considering a discretionary refund, credit or payment adjustment, we may consider factors including:
The nature of the product or service;
How much of the programme or service has already been delivered;
Whether digital content or resources have already been made available;
Whether live sessions have already taken place;
Whether one-to-one time has been reserved or delivered;
The circumstances surrounding the request; and
Any specific terms communicated before purchase.
Considering a request does not guarantee that a discretionary refund, credit, cancellation or payment adjustment will be provided.
A discretionary accommodation provided in one case does not create an obligation to provide the same outcome in another case.
Failure to attend sessions, access resources, complete materials or otherwise participate does not, by itself, create an entitlement to a refund.
12. ONE-TO-ONE APPOINTMENTS
Where a service includes scheduled one-to-one appointments, participants are responsible for attending at the agreed time.
Specific cancellation or rescheduling requirements may be provided as part of the relevant programme.
We ask participants to provide reasonable notice where an appointment needs to be changed.
Where clearly communicated and reasonable in the circumstances, a missed appointment or late cancellation may be treated as a used session.
If Lauren Jean Devine needs to reschedule an appointment, reasonable efforts will be made to provide a suitable alternative.
13. LIVE PROGRAMMES, WORKSHOPS AND EVENTS
Dates or times of live sessions may occasionally need to change because of illness, emergencies, technical issues or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where this occurs, we will make reasonable efforts, as appropriate, to:
Reschedule the session;
Provide an alternative session;
Provide a recording or replacement resource; or
Provide another reasonable solution.
A reasonable scheduling change does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund, subject always to applicable consumer law.
14. EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND RESULTS
Lauren Jean Devine provides educational teaching, resources, feedback, mentoring and guidance.
We aim to provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
However, individual outcomes depend upon many factors outside our control.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, we do not guarantee:
A particular Leaving Certificate grade;
A particular examination result;
A CAO offer;
Admission to a particular course, college or university;
A particular academic outcome;
A particular career outcome;
A specific personal-development outcome; or
Any other specific result.
Testimonials, case studies, previous student outcomes and examples represent individual experiences and are not guarantees that another participant will achieve the same result.
15. LEAVING CERTIFICATE AND ASSESSED COURSEWORK
Our educational services may provide teaching, guidance, resources, examples and feedback relating to Leaving Certificate Home Economics.
Students remain responsible for producing and submitting their own individual work and for complying with all applicable requirements of their school, teacher, examination authority and the State Examinations Commission ("SEC").
The SEC's 2027 Food Studies Assignment requirements, for example, state that coursework presented for assessment must be the candidate's own individual work. They also require research sources—including material generated using artificial intelligence—to be appropriately acknowledged and warn of penalties for copying, plagiarism or improper assistance.
Accordingly:
Our services provide educational teaching, guidance and support;
We do not guarantee marks awarded by the SEC or another examining authority;
Resources, examples and feedback must not be submitted as though they were the student's own work where doing so would breach examination requirements;
Students must follow instructions provided by their school and teacher;
Students remain responsible for checking their final work and submission;
Students remain responsible for appropriately referencing sources where required; and
Our services must not be used to facilitate plagiarism, copying, improper assistance or other academic misconduct.
Where we reasonably believe our services or materials are being deliberately used to facilitate academic misconduct, we reserve the right to refuse inappropriate assistance and take reasonable action concerning access to the relevant service, subject to applicable law.
16. MENTORING AND COACHING
Mentoring and coaching services are intended to provide guidance, reflection, education, accountability and support.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, they do not constitute:
Medical advice;
Psychological or psychiatric treatment;
Legal advice;
Financial advice; or
Another regulated professional service.
Participants remain responsible for their own decisions, actions and outcomes.
Where an issue falls outside the appropriate scope of our services, a participant may be encouraged to seek support from a suitably qualified professional.
17. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDUCT
Participants are expected to engage appropriately and respectfully with our services and other participants.
You must not:
Harass, threaten or abuse another participant;
Deliberately disrupt a programme or community;
Share another participant's confidential or personal information;
Record another participant without appropriate permission;
Attempt to obtain unauthorised access to our systems;
Share personal account credentials;
Reproduce or distribute protected resources without permission;
Use our services for an unlawful purpose;
Misrepresent our materials as your own commercial work; or
Use our educational services to facilitate plagiarism or academic misconduct.
Serious or repeated breaches may result in reasonable restrictions or termination of access in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
18. ONLINE COMMUNITIES
Some programmes may include access to an online group or community.
Participants are expected to communicate respectfully and protect the privacy of other members.
We may moderate or remove content and, where reasonably necessary, restrict or remove a participant's access where behaviour:
Seriously disrupts the community;
Harasses another participant;
Breaches another person's privacy;
Infringes intellectual property;
Facilitates academic misconduct; or
Is otherwise unlawful.
Where access is removed, any financial consequences will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer law, these Terms and the circumstances involved.
19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless expressly stated otherwise, content and materials supplied through Lauren Jean Devine products and services are owned by or licensed to Lauren Jean Devine and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
This may include:
Videos and recordings
Lessons
Course materials
Notes
Workbooks
Worksheets
Templates
Guides
Presentations
Teaching resources
Downloads
Graphics
Written content
Frameworks
Programme materials
Website content
Branding
Purchasing or accessing a product gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the material for the purpose for which it was supplied.
Purchase does not transfer ownership of our intellectual property.
20. STUDENT RESOURCE USE
Unless expressly stated otherwise, student resources are licensed for the individual student's personal educational use.
They must not be:
Shared with other students;
Shared through messaging groups;
Uploaded to shared drives or resource repositories;
Published online;
Sold or resold;
Commercially reproduced;
Redistributed;
Used to create competing products or services; or
Otherwise made publicly available without permission.
21. TEACHER RESOURCE USE
Unless a different licence is expressly provided, teacher resources purchased or accessed by an individual teacher are licensed for that teacher's own professional and classroom use.
They must not be:
Resold;
Commercially redistributed;
Uploaded to public resource repositories;
Shared outside the scope of the applicable licence;
Republished as another person's resource; or
Represented as the purchaser's own original commercial product.
Where a particular product includes broader school, departmental or colleague usage rights, these will be expressly stated.
22. RECORDINGS
Certain live sessions may be recorded.
Where participants may be identifiable, appropriate information will be provided and permission obtained where legally required.
Recordings supplied as part of a programme remain subject to these Terms.
Participants must not independently record private or group sessions without appropriate permission.
Programme recordings must not be copied, redistributed, sold or publicly shared except where expressly permitted.
23. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY
We take reasonable steps to respect the confidentiality and privacy of information shared through our services.
Group programmes and communities necessarily involve interaction with other participants. Although participants are required to respect one another's privacy, we cannot guarantee the conduct of an independent participant.
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Irish and EU data-protection law.
24. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND PLATFORMS
We may use third-party services to deliver elements of our products and programmes, including services relating to:
Payments;
Video conferencing;
Website or course hosting;
Email;
Scheduling;
Communities;
Forms; and
Other technology.
Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices.
Where an independent third-party platform experiences temporary disruption outside our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to minimise any material effect on the service we provide.
25. CHANGES TO SERVICES
We may make reasonable changes to programme content, schedules, resources, platforms or methods of delivery where necessary to:
Improve a service;
Maintain or update content;
Respond to changes in technology;
Respond to circumstances outside our reasonable control; or
Comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
We will not use this provision to materially reduce a consumer's contracted service contrary to applicable consumer law.
Where a change materially affects an existing customer's service, we will take appropriate steps consistent with our contractual and legal obligations.
26. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
We may take reasonable steps to suspend or terminate access following a serious or repeated breach of these Terms.
This may include:
Unauthorised distribution of intellectual property;
Fraud;
Serious harassment;
Deliberate misuse of our systems;
Significant breaches of another participant's privacy;
Misuse of our services to facilitate academic misconduct; or
Persistent failure to make payments that are validly due.
Where appropriate, reasonable notice or an opportunity to remedy the issue may be provided before access is terminated, unless immediate action is reasonably necessary.
Termination does not automatically extinguish payment obligations already validly incurred, subject to applicable consumer law.
27. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any mandatory statutory rights or remedies available to consumers.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control or losses caused by a participant's failure to use the service for its intended purpose or follow reasonable instructions.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
28. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
We will not be responsible for a delay or failure to perform an obligation where performance is prevented by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control.
Where such circumstances materially affect a service, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and provide an appropriate solution consistent with applicable law.
29. COMPLAINTS

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights or any external remedy available under applicable law.
30. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Personal information collected in connection with our products and services will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Irish and EU data-protection law.
Data-protection enquiries can be directed to:
31. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
Where you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections applicable in your country of residence that cannot lawfully be excluded by these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of mandatory legal protections that apply to them.
32. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable law.
The Terms applicable to a purchase will generally be those presented or otherwise applicable when the relevant contract was entered into, unless a subsequent change is required by law or otherwise validly agreed.
The current version will display the date on which it was last updated.
33. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms should be read together with:
